This is one of the more interesting projects to come in the last little while.

Los Angeles based director Sebastian Gutierrez got in touch with me about designing a special edition poster for his latest film, Elektra Luxx, which stars Carla Gugino, to coincide with its world premiere at the SXSW 2010 Film Festival and other festival showings.

Looking for something sexy and provocative, Gutierrez gave me pretty much artistic freedom after approving preliminary sketches and while this will not be the mass market poster for the film's wide release - distributors and marketing departments usually put those together using photos - its nice to have been part of this project.
